Palazzo Benzon is located in the most privileged position of the Grand Canal between the Rialto and the Accademia bridges, on St Marks side.

The main floor of the Counts Benzon, the illustrious family of Venetian ambassadors, merchants and men of arms in the sixteenth century, distinguished itself for the elegance of its beautifully decorated rooms.

The Main Hall was an exclusive meeting point and memorable parties: in the living room animated by Marina Querini Benzon there were nobles, ambassadors and writers among which we find characters such as Lord Byron and Casanova.

The Main Floor “Piano Nobile” reflects the classis type of venetian palaces of the 16th century: the central hall, promptly decorated with ancient frescoes and stuccos, stretches across the floor, from the garden terrace overlooking the Palazzo Fortuny to the large balcony overlooking the Grand Canal.

There are six rooms connected to the living room, all painted and decorated with important antique stuccos and they are the perfect complement for a wedding or an event that will involve all your senses.

Stendhal wrote, "parties at Palazzo Benzon are more fun than those in Paris'.
